Warnock unclear over Bostock rumours

Neil Warnock has admitted his disappointment should teenage wonderkid John Bostock sign for Tottenham.

The 16-year-old midfielder was strongly linked with a £5m move to north London in yesterday's national newspapers having yet to sign a professional contract for Palace.

However, Warnock said he knew nothing about the move but if the rumours were true he would feel let down.

Speaking after last night's play-off semi-final defeat, he said: "I dont honestly know (about the rumours). I've been told he's going to sign for Tottenham but I'm not sure. I'll be speaking to his dad.

"It's disappointing if that is the case because I've not been told myself but these big clubs can do what they want though can't they."
