Alexandra Kingston off to flying start in petanque

The newly formed Alexandra Kingston Petanque Club held their first regional event at the end of last month.

Although still in their infancy, the team - consisting of Ben Brousson, Flo Brousson and Daniel Hill - won the London region triples event.

Ben Brousson, London region champion in 2003, 2005 and 2007, was supported by the Alexandra Tavern, Kingston, in founding the club and building the ground on which the regional event was held.

Ben and Daniel are now aiming to retain their regional dominance while competing towards qualifying for the World Championship of petanque.
