Yohan Cabaye has refused to commit his future to Crystal Palace - despite insisting he is happy at the club.

The midfielder's contract expires this summer, and while manager Roy Hodgson has made no secret of his desire to retain him, he also expects him to receive offers from elsewhere.

In 2015, Alan Pardew made Cabaye the Eagles' club-record signing by spending £10million to bring him in from Paris St Germain, and since Hodgson's appointment last September the Frenchman has produced his best form.

The uncertainty surrounding Cabaye's future also comes amid the conclusion of Ruben Loftus-Cheek's loan spell from Chelsea, and the 32-year-old told Palace's official website: "I don't know what the future holds. It was a hard, tough season so I will have a chat with my agent, the club and the chairman.

"I have no stress about my future, so I just wanted to enjoy (the final game of the season against West Brom) and then see what happens next. I've had three fantastic seasons here, I love the club and my life in London is perfect, so I will see.

"The fans are brilliant and I want to thank them once again. Since my first day here, they have been fantastic with me and I've tried to give them back their support.

"It's special to play here; the place is rocking every weekend, so us finishing 11th is for them. I hope the future can be even better for them."

On Sunday, Cabaye helped to create Patrick van Aanholt's goal which secured a 2-0 victory over relegated West Brom and 11th place.

He added: "That's what we were looking for as it was important to finish the season well after our bad start.

"Home games are always special and the crowd and the atmosphere were brilliant once again. It was really important to finish on a high, and that's what we did.

"Unfortunately we didn't finish 10th which was our target, but we won and kept a clean sheet which is a fantastic way to finish before our holidays."
