Borussia Dortmund have offered Andre Schurrle to Crystal Palace, reports claim.

The former Chelsea forward has made just 10 appearances for the German club this season and is surplus to requirements.

West Brom turned down the chance to bring Schurrle back to the Premier League last week - and it’s opened the door for the Eagles to swoop in.

Palace lost Bakary Sako to injury against West Ham last night. The club will need to sign a replacement after the winger left the London Stadium on crutches.

“We need to bring someone in if Bakary is out for a long time,” Eagles boss Roy Hodgson said. “Our forward options are really down to the bare bones.

“Our medical staff are very good, they have an unerring knack of being right with their prognosis and they don't think it looks good at all.

“There is the positivity of getting a point but it's disappointing to pay a high price if Bakary is going to miss a large chunk of the season.”
