Crystal Palace could offload Wayne Hennessey in January, according to reports.

Hennessey has lost his place to Julian Speroni in the Eagles team since the international break.

He picked up a knock while playing for Wales, and Speroni deputised against Chelsea before keeping his place for the trip to Newcastle on Saturday.

And the Sun says Palace are considering selling Hennessey, whose contract runs out next summer.

The Welsh stopper played second fiddle to Speroni after arriving at the club in 2014, however, he became the first-choice goalkeeper in the 2015/16 campaign.

Hennessey has shipped 17 goals this season, and it has played a part in club legend Speroni regaining the number one spot.

Hennessey has a wealth of Premier League experience with Palace and Wolves so won’t be short of admirers in January.
