Crystal Palace and Swansea are keeping tabs on Greenock Morton winger Jai Quitongo.

Quitongo, 20, has made an impressive start to the Scottish Championship this season, netting twice in six appearances.

He scored a stunning goal at Queen of the South last weekend, following up his winner against Dunfermline from the week before.

Quitongo, whose father Jose played for Benfica, is out of contract next summer.

League One Doncaster are believed to have had a bid rejected for Quitongo last year, with Hull also expressing previous interest.

But the Daily Mail reports that Brighton, Preston and Wigan have joined Crystal Palace and Swansea in the race to sign the in-demand forward.

Morton want to offer Quitongo a new deal but will struggle to match potential offers from English clubs.

Quitongo, who has been tipped to play for Scotland, is free to talk to foreign clubs from January.
