AFC Wimbledon recorded their first pre-season win on Saturday beating Reading 2-0 at the Cherry Red Records stadium.

Goals from new boys Dean Parrett and Dom Poleon did the business for boss Neal Ardley, who welcomes Crystal Palace to the CRRS on Wednesday ahead of a trip to Woking on Saturday.

Now you can get up close and personal with the new signings and the heroes of last season after the club announced that they will be holding an open training day on August 2.

Supporters of all ages are welcome to watch Ardley put his squad through their paces just four days before the League One opener at Walsall.

On the day, the AFC Wimbledon Foundation team will be running a host of activities for younger Dons supporters.

The club shop will be open, and there will be a raffle, an inflatable shoot-out and the chance to have your photo taken with Haydon the Womble and the League Two Play-Off Trophy.

They are also running a competition for Junior Dons to have their photo taken with the team.
