Crystal Palace and Sunderland are both interested in West Ham’s James Tomkins, according to reports.

The versatile defender, who has featured at centre-back and right-back for the Hammers this season, is believed to be unwilling to leave the club.

A product of the West Ham youth system, Tomkins has made over 200 league appearances for the east London outfit since his debut in 2008.

Despite his alleged reluctance to leave Upton Park, the Daily Mirror say multiple Premier League clubs are monitoring his situation ahead of the summer window.

Palace will be looking to bolster their squad after a dramatic loss of form this season, while Sunderland are also reportedly admirers of former England U21 star Tomkins.
