Old Hamptonians’ first and second teams clinched their respective Amateur Football league titles on the weekend.
Fans set off smoke bombs and tooted horns as the 2nd team, based at Hampton’s Dean Road, thumped Hampstead Heathens 4-0 at a stand-in home pitch at Feltham Community College on Saturday, May 14.
A stunning hat-trick from forward Will Doyle and a goal from winger Jamie Clark, all scored in the second half, meant the 2nd XI finished three points clear of Economicals IV in the Intermediate South Division, the first time the team has finished in the top half of a table since 2009.

Speaking after the win captain George Chilton said: “It’s everything we've ever dreamed of.”
Veteran left-back, James Gibson, who was absent for the final match, described the victory as "fantastic."
Old Hamptonians first XI won the Amateur Football Combination Premier Division for the third year running, finishing a point above arch-rivals Old Meadonians FC.
The teams celebrated with a night out at Fez Club in Putney.
