Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville has waded into the transfer deadline day fun by suggesting that Crystal Palace keeper Julian Speroni could be unsettled by the arrival of Wayne Hennessey from Wolves.

Palace are reported to have had a £3m bid for the League One stopper accepted at Moulineux, bringing increased competition for the Eagles number one shirt.

Neville said: "Transfer deadline day can be unsettling for players. At Manchester United I was sheltered from much of it because we rarely did business on the final day.

"But that is not always the case and players can become unsettled.

"Take Palace's goalkeeper for example, he may not be feeling too good about himself if they have signed Hennessey. He may be wondering what is going to happen next."
