Wimbledon were in command from the start of the John Cearns speedway cup against Kent Kings thanks to a perfect start from Stefan Nielsen.
He defeated Kent Kings riders Steve Boxall and Connor Coles in the first heat of Monday’s match at Central Park, Sittingbourne.
Wimbledon’s strength was in two peerless performances by Danish riders Nielsen and Kasper Lykke.
Nielsen was untroubled all night clinching a 15-point five-ride maximum, while Lykke was involved in all the best races of the match.
Former Plough Lane junior Brendan Johnson gave the Dons’ top scorers solid support with three second places and a heat 12 win.
