Miss Surrey 2008 Seven south west London beauties have lost in their bid to be crowned Miss Surrey.
The seven, who included a Kingston student, a Staines solo ice dancing champion and a Carshalton jazz dancer lost out in the competition's final yesterday.
Instead Chloe Marshall, 16, from Guildford made history by becoming the first size 16 model to be selected for the Miss England contestant.
The beauty therapy student who picked up the Miss Surrey crown and will be now battling to win the national title said she wanted to break the stereotype that models have to be tall and skinny.
The Miss Surrey final was held at at Champneys Forest Mere, a Hampshire health resort.
The final 10 were photographed and interviewed in their own keep fit outfit and daywear.
According to the competition's organisers the judges were looking for confidence, beauty and personality.

Aletha Shepherd  Aletha, 19, from Wallington has appeared in a movie and in various commercials and is a trained dancer and gymnast. Aletha battled and overcame meningitis when younger. Cristie Poole  Cristie, 17, from Carshalton is a jazz dancer, plays violin and wants to become a underwear and glamour model Catriona Cristie  Catriona, 22, from Englefield Green was nine when she won the British Novice Solo Ice Dancing championships and at the age of 14 was Best in England Schools at High jump Emily Stephenson Rose  The Kingston student, 20, is currently taking a degree in English at the University of East Anglia. Julia Warren  Roehampton University student 21-year-old Julia has an ambition to raise money for children with anorexia and Bulimia and is studying to be a primary school teacher. Rebecca Constaninou  Rebecca, from Carshalton, is 17 says she can sing , dance and act. Freya Eve  Freya, from Sutton, is 23 and a Christian rock singer, personal fitness instructor and trained sound engineer |
