Q. How many people read your websites?

South London websites have 200,000 + readers per month. We record each visit a unique user (reader) makes. Each time a user opens a page they create a page impression. Across the UK Newsquest’ sites are read by 3.1 million users who generate 40 million page impressions per month.

Q. I'm a local business with local customers. I don't want people contacting me from all over the world!

Our websites provide local news coverage as well as information relevant to towns and boroughs where most of our readership live and work. People in the UK today live the great majority of their lives – working, school, shopping, leisure and entertainment – within a 14-mile radius. As with regional press advertising the benefits of targeting a readership by their local publication, in this case their local website, produces positive results.

Q. What is a directory listing?

Directory listings include a link to your website and email and list the address, phone and fax number. Also, 30 words describing your business are permitted.The listing lasts for 365 days. Ultimately, it’s one years advertising on your local newspapers website.

Q. Am I guaranteed a response?

One of the advantages of online advertising is that all advert styles can be measured. Our run of site adverts e.g. banners are booked in via Real Media software which provides a wealth of information about campaigns. Also, visits to your site from our directories can be tracked. All of the following products can carry 4 messages by animating over 4 slides or supporting a continuous animation – quite like a cartoon! Readers may click on the advert to be taken straight to the advertisers website. Discounts are available, ask for details.

Skyscrapers from £120 + Vat per month.

Skyscrapers display in the right hand margin and remain visible even when the reader scrolls down to read stories. They are the largest sized advert available and the fact that they stay visible for longer improves the chances of an effective response to your campaign. The minimum order is just £120 + Vat per month.

Banners from £100 + Vat per month.

Run of site banners can be ordered to appear at the top or at the bottom of pages. An additional middle banner position can be placed within jobs, homes and cars sections. £100 + Vat secures 10,000 adverts which will last one month. Campaigns are tailored to suit your budget. If you purchase 50,000 banners or more you will qualify for a discount.

Standard tiles from £100 + Vat per month

Tile adverts are almost square in shape and appear roughly half way down the right hand side of pages. Minimum spend is £100 + Vat and adverts will be booked to display 17,000 times over one month. Campaigns can be tailored to suit all budgets.

Sponsorship Tile £200 + Vat per week

This advert displays in the top right hand corner of the website in line with the first stories on the page. This makes sponsorship tiles highly visible and therefore, makes them an attractive opportunity. Unlike banners only one Sponsor Tile position may be booked per site per month.This means they are exclusive to one advertiser and appear on every page throughout the website purchased (except jobs, homes and cars pages). The Sponsorship Tile is more than just an animating display advert. As it is part of our sites content it is referenced by search engines and therefore, can boost the advertisers own site ranking in search engines such as Google.

Section Sponsorships (POA)

An opportunity to place your brand within specific sections of our site e.g. Leisure. A clickable image will create brand awareness which will lead our readers direct to your website.

Business Profile £150 + Vat per year.

A business profile is similar to a classified directory listing with two additional features. Firstly, up to 4 pictures can be included and the profile will contain up to 250 words describing the business. Cost is £150 + vat and profiles last for one year. This is a static advert but as it is part of our website it has search engine benefits similar to the sponsorship tile above.
