A man accused of murdering Malachi Brooks in Battersea appeared at the Old Bailey today (September 6).
Joel Preddie, 20, of Chantry Way, Mitcham, was charged on Saturday, September 2 with murder and arson.
He is due to enter a plea on November 22, and a provisional trial date has been set for February next year.
Malachi, 21, was stabbed to death in Surrey Lane in the early hours of the morning on March 28.
Another man arrested in connection with the murder, Abdul Popatpotra, 26, is due to appear in the Old Bailey on September 29.
Both were remanded in custody after a hearing at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on September 4.
