A fault with the signalling system meant there were no trains running between Sutton and Streatham this morning (August 3).
Trains were not calling at Carshalton, Hackbridge, Mitcham Junction and Mitcham Eastfields.
Network Rail have said that they expect the disruption to continue until 10am.
The signalling problem is at Mitcham Eastfields which affects the points that allows trains to go to either Balham or Streatham.
