Horrifying footage has been released showing a woman dragged along a road by two men on a moped as she clings to her handbag.
The woman, who is in her 30s, was walking along Hassocks Road, near Mitcham on May 15 when police say a moped with two riders drove past.
The two circled back and attempted to steal her purse around 4.40pm by grabbing her bag. She refused to let go and was dragged along the road for the length of 30 houses.
She was successful in defending her belongings, but was injured by the dragging.
