He promised to eat a live scorpion as his next food challenge.

And despite the danger of being stung, pinched or poisoned he has delivered on his crazy pledge.

In the video Louis Cole, 28, carefully holds the stinger in his hand as he dangles the scorpion, claws and all, into his mouth.

A few crunches, plenty of chewing and a couple of dry retches and the gory meal is over.

He said: "It was scary. It was probably the scariest thing I have done.

"I was squeezing the stinger so hard because I knew if I slipped it could sting me in the face.

"It was actually pretty tasty as well. It tasted nutty."

Asked whether it was cruel to eat a live scorpion he said: "I would say it is no crueller than killing it and eating it.

"What is the difference between eating the cockroaches, which no-one had a problem with, and the scorpion?

"I have had a phone call but I can't verify how legitimate it is. It was a prank call claiming they were the RSPCA and were looking to speak to me, maybe prosecution, but I don't think the RSPCA look after arachnids and insects."

He admitted the pet shop he had bought the scorpion from believed he was taking it as a pet. He even bought a tank to keep it in.

Asked about the health efffects of eating a scorpion he said: "Someone has said that the exo-skeleton is not actually digestible by humans and it will cause me stomach ulcers and problems with my intestines but I ate it on Saturday and I haven't had any problems."

Last time he was seen on Youtube eating live hissing cockroaches, sheep brain, locusts and mice which had been through a food mixer.

He told the Surrey Comet then: “I'm still exploring where the boundaries are for me. I think I would probably draw the line at human flesh. Live mammals I wouldn’t want to eat."

On a recent road trip across America in a yellow school bus with friends from Cobham and Leatherhead, he swallowed a dead frog he found floating in a river only to discover it was full of frogspawn.

The former Heathside pupil has seen horror, revulsion and surprise on the internet following his scorpion stunt featuring on the Huffington Post, and the number one political website Guido Fawkes.

Louis now lives in Roehampton and drives a double decker bus hiring it out to community groups and police across London and Surrey for youth work, delighting and appalling young people with his grotesque party trick.

He said he is sizing up a tarantula for his next meal.

He said: "It has got these inch long fangs which can attack very rapidly.

"The other thing is it has all these hairs which it fires if it is worried. They irritate your skin.

"I'm aware it could be dangerous."
