Police help out with puppy love

11:30am Tuesday 13th July 2010

A puppy was temporarily housed in a police station’s headphone cabinet after officers visted his owners’ home.

Staffordshire puppy Bruno was brought in by officers after they attended a report of a disturbance at a Carshalton home.

Jane Chapple, communications officer in the control room, said the puppy - who was later collected by his owner - was too small to be left in the station’s kennels and was brought inside where he attracted “alot of fuss”.
