A fireworks competition due to take place in Battersea at the weekend has been called off due to poor ticket sales.
The London heat of the British Firework Championships was meant to be held in Battersea Park tomorrow night.
But the organisers of the event said low advance ticket sales meant the show had to be cancelled.
Jim Winship, director of the event services association, which runs the event, said: "Unfortunately the costs of staging this event are so high that we had to take a realistic view of the advance sales.
"We are obviously very disappointed - as are the competitors - but the whole event had been planned on advance ticket sales."
Mr Winship confirmed that all those who have pre-booked a ticket for the event will receive a full refund.
