Police have released an image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with a ‘nasty unprovoked attack’ at a bar in Earlsfield.

Officers were called to reports of an assault at the Graffiti Bar, in Garratt Lane, just before 2am on February 18.

A 25-year-old male was hit in the face with a glass, causing injuries both above and below his left eye.

PC Rob Clarke, from Wandsworth’s police unit, said today (May 17): “This is a nasty unprovoked attack on a man who was dancing on the dancefloor.

“We are appealing for anyone who may have seen the attack to come forward.”

The victim of the assault was rushed to a south London hospital by the London Ambulance Service, who also attended.

He received several stitches following the incident before being discharged.

Meanwhile, the man police want to identify is described as slim, white, in his 20s, and 5ft 7in tall with short light brown hair.

He was wearing a long-sleeved shirt, dark jeans, and dark shoes.
