A Southfields man has appeared in court after he allegedly showed pictures of a former girlfriend topless and in her underwear to a friend.
Julian Manea, 36, allegedly showed the explicit images of the woman without her consent on January 27.
He is also charged with harassment after making ‘unwanted’ contact which included sending her messages on WhatsApp.
Manea, of Swanton Gardens, denied the charges during a brief hearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, February 15.
It is alleged he ‘disclosed a private sexual photograph or film without the consent of [the woman], an individual who appeared in the photograph or film, with the intention of causing that individual distress’.
The second charge relates to ‘harrassment without violence’, the court heard.
Magistrate Alexia Fetherstonhaugh bailed Manea ahead of a trial at Hendon Magistrates’ Court to begin on April 17.
