A yellow weather warning has been issued by the Met Office for London and the South East this morning (January 11) because of fog.
However, it looks like the worst of the fog - which continues this morning after last night - should just miss the capital.
The Met Office expects it to last until around 11am and said slower journey times are possible and there is a chance of delays to flights.
The chief forecaster said: "While visibilities are still below 100 metres in places, fog will thin from the east this morning. However, some patches may persist into the afternoon in the west of the warning area."
In general the forecast for today is mostly cloudy with some rain or drizzle in places. The maximum temperature will be around 8C.
