Britain's most niche museum will open its doors on Saturday for just the tenth time this year - for only THREE hours.

The London Sewing Machine Museum displays over 600 machines, some of which date back to the 1960s.

But the bizarre showroom in Balham High Road will only open for three hours on Saturday.

It opens for the brief window on the first Saturday of every month, clocking in at 36 hours a year - just one-and-a-half total days.

The main draw of the museum is a machine which was given to Queen Victoria's eldest daughter Victoria, Princess Royal, as a wedding present.
