More sessions will become available as well.
One mother, who did not wish to be named, said she had built up high rent arrears and did not know that help was on hand.
She said: "This service is fantastic, I never believed I would be able to get any benefits but, to have it backdated to last year is unbelievable. I am so grateful, I now have all my benefits in payments and have no stress of rent.”
The advice sessions form part of Wandsworth Council’s initiative to support and help people in a range of areas, such as financial advice, youth mentoring, employment and training initiatives, as well as cultural and sporting opportunities.
