Kyrie Knight, 21, died in the early hours of New Year's Day, just hours after sending her mother a text message wishing her a happy new year.
She had stayed in for a quiet night with her five-month-old son but died from smoke inhalation when a tea light candle set fire to her lounge.
The baby was found safe and well in the next room of the flat more than 24 hours later when worried mum Mandy Knight, 46, went to check on them.
