Police are trying to trace two women who came to the aid of 29-year-old robbery victim.

The man was attacked and robbed outside of the Natwest Bank on Balham High Road on August 18 at 1.30am.

He had left The Jackdaw and Rook pub on the same road to use the cash machine.

But after making a withdrawl he was attacked and robbed.

The victim, who cannot remember the robbery, was told by the two women who came to his aid that he had been assaulted by three boys in their teens.

The teens had then ran off towards Clapham.

Detective Constable Claire Samy, the investigating officer, said: "We desperately want to talk to the two women who helped this man, as they may have important information on the suspects, who are described as three black boys around fifteen years-old."

"No one has been arrested and inquiries continue."

Anyone with information should call 020 8247 8874 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
