Man advertises for love in shop windows Man advertises for love in shop windows

A man is placing adverts in shop windows in an attempt to find love.

David Owusu-Akyeaw, 28, from Thornton Heath, has placed adverts in shops in Wallington and Croydon.

He has only been doing it for a few months but has already received about 10 responses.

Although some have been good he has also received phone calls from school kids messing around.

He said: "I thought it would be a good idea and would save money – online dating is so expensive.

"I’m looking to extend my family – I’ve already got two girls – I want two more boys then I will call it quits.

"I thought it would make more sense if me and the lady fall in love first."

When it comes to his "type" Mr Owusu-Akyeaw said he likes clean, attractive, taller women about the ages of 24-36.

But Mr Owusu-Akyeaw said he is quite open-minded when it comes to his type of lady but he said he likes caring women.

But he said: "Most importantly it’s the state-of-mind – it’s very important to me.

"If I can’t fall in love with her mind it’s going to be hard to go further."

Mr Owusu-Akyeaw is a self-employed musician who has been married before and is ideally looking to marry again.

He said he is a creative person who does a lot of reading; he spends a lot of time with his immediate family and sometimes goes to the golf range with his mum.

His ideal date would be abroad somewhere like Thailand or Switzerland but on a local level he said he likes going out for lunch or for a drink.

Are you a single lady looking to fall in love and family? If so call Mr Owusu-Akyeaw on 07830 677 517.

Wouldn't that be what they call exhibitionism?

How do you know this? Did you respond to his ad and found this to be the case? If so then yes, I accept you would be hurt and upset. However, if you've just made a sweeping generalisation because he happens to have a foreign name then you are guilty of racism.

Horrid looking man, no wonder he has to advertise for women, no English woman would go near him.

I’m assuming you are a white English woman. How do you know your taste is indicative of all white English women. I’ve seen White English girls (ugly ones through to stunning ones) with men much uglier than him be they white guys or black guys. Anyway I think the second picture does him much better justice as that fisheye lens they used for the first one makes him look a little alien. One only has to look at all he ugly premiership footballers and see how attractive there wags are. Yes footballer have money and status but there looks have not prevented them getting the girls they desired be that white English girls or any other. So you statement is erroneous
