‘Ello, ‘ello ‘ello - what’s all this then? A Victorian bobby on a penny farthing was just one of the entertainers at Upper Norwood library over the weekend as visitors got to step back in time to explore the history of the area.

As well as learning about the history of the library and Crystal Palace, there were workshops where people could start tracing their own family histories. An organ grinder, a 1920s juggler and a traditional Punch and Judy show were among the other period entertainment on offer.
