Witnesses are wanted after police say a man forced a Streatham woman out of a car and kicked her in face.
The woman, aged in her 30s, was forced out of a black Porsche Cayenne car, which stopped somewhere in Bermondsey between 6pm and 7pm on Saturday, February 4.
Her attacker, who is known to the woman, got out of the car and allegedly carried out the assault before driving off.
A passer-by found the victim and called a taxi to take her to her Streatham home.
Police were made aware of the attack after an ambulance was called to the woman’s home and arrived at about 8am on Sunday, February 3.
The victim initially refused treatment before a second ambulance was called. Paramedics then treated the woman who had injuries to her head, face, shoulders, arms, legs and her right hand.
She was discharged later that day.
Lambeth detectives said they are looking for the taxi driver who took the injured woman home and for anyone who may have seen the assault.
A man who is known to the victim was arrested and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm on Sunday, February 5.
