London Overground is experiencing severe delays after a fire broke out on a train at Dalston earlier this morning, where several were injured in the panic.

Dalston station was closed earlier following the alert, but has since reopened.

The London Fire Brigade confirmed three people were injured.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene at 7.30am on Wednesday.

A BTP spokesperson said the fire was due to a "non-suspicious" electrical fault on the train.
