Sex toy and lingerie retailer Ann Summers is in talks to move its headquarters to Ikea in Croydon and there is a were-squirrel in Wandle Park.

These are just two of the untruths being peddled on the internet today thanks to a Twitter competition launched by folk singer Beans on Toast.

The #untruecroydon contest was launched on Ally McKinlay's Croydon Radio show Made In Croydon yesterday when Beans On Toast was his guest.

The one judged to be the best will win two tickets to his show at Matthews Yard on July 23.

This show is part of the Ambition Festival, running in Croydon from July 23 to 26.
