A tenant who made her neighbours’ lives "hell" for six years has been booted out of her flat.
Croydon magistrates have imposed a three-month closure order on Michelle Taylor’s home in Woodville Road, Thornton Heath.
It comes after they heard that the behaviour of her and her visitors included being drunk and disorderly, verbally abusing other residents, loud parties, fighting, shouting, screaming, drug taking and vandalising the security door.
Disturbances continued day and night, with visitors to flat 50, where Taylor lived, ringing on her neighbours’ door bells and knocking on their windows.
This year, in a seven-week period covering March and April, the police went to the property 25 times to deal with antisocial behaviour.
The closure order means nobody can enter the premises for three months.
Cabinet member for safety and justice Councillor Mark Watson said: "Life must have been hell for the neighbours who had to put up with Michelle Taylor and her friends’ behaviour.
"I now hope that the people of Woodville Road can move on from this and live their lives in peace."
