Three men have been arrested following a triple stabbing yesterday as a fight in the Croydon town centre McDonald's spilled out to the street.

Police and paramedics were called to George Street just before 2pm and found two injured 18-year-olds.

One of them had been stabbed in the arm and the other one had been stabbed in the neck.

It is believed they had been arguing in the McDonald's in North End before the fight turned more violent in the road.

Two teenagers were taken to separate hospitals where they are being treated for non-life-threatning injuries.

Later on yesterday afternoon a third man, aged 20, turned up at hospital having suffered stab wounds to the face.

Officers believe these incidents are linked and all three victims have been arrested on suspicion of GBH.

Detectives want to speak to any witnesses who saw what happened either inside or outside McDonalds or further down George Street toward East Croydon station.

Anyone with information is asked to call Croydon CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 quoting reference 3813632/15.
