APRIL FOOL!!!!

Work at Ruskin Square has been halted after the discovery of ruins believed to date to Roman times.

Archaeologists have been called to the site, and are expected to be setting up a dig throughout this morning, April 1.

Early indications suggesting the findings hint the land may once have been prepared for a coliseum or amphitheatre.

Eminent expert Ralf Loopi has been appointed to lead the investigation into the discovery.

Mr Loopi, from the Faculty Of Old Landscapes and Scenery, said: “It is quite possible that in the distant past this land was set aside for a grand arena for sport, or possibly a theatre – something for the people.”
