If you see a dog on the streets of Croydon today then you might be able to use it to buy some lunch – as it might be a tenner.

Five hundred origami dogs made with £10 notes have been let loose on the streets of London.

Some have been put near East Croydon station and other parts of the town centre waiting to be pocketed by people who spot them.

The stunt is by insurance company Beagle Street, which believes people are overpaying on their life insurance policies.
