The London Ambulance Service treated the cyclist, a man reported to be in his 30's, for leg and pelvic injuries.
Police said he suffered serious injuries but they are not thought to be life threatening.
The emergency services were called just before 8am this morning to Buckhold Road.
The road was temporarily closed, causing traffic delays during the morning rush hour.
The cyclist was taken to St George's Hospital, in Tooting, as a priority.
More to follow.
