Housing trust Peabody is to launch three shared ownership developments in Wandsworth in the coming weeks.
St John's Hill, Battersea
The buildings will provide more than 100 homes in Elmwood Court in Battersea Park Road, Chancery Building in Nine Elms and Carters Yard in Wandsworth High Street.
Peabody is also redeveloping its St John’s Hill estate, near Clapham Junction station, which includes the creation of 221 new affordable rent homes, 58 shared ownership and 249 properties for private sale.
Wandsworth residents who are considering buying their first home are advised to register with the council’s homeownership team who can explain options available and eligibility.
Shared ownership schemes are provided through housing associations. You buy a share of your home and pay rent on the remaining share.
Andrew Peglau, marketing manager at Peabody said: “With more than 100 homes available for shared ownership we are helping local people achieve their dream of home ownership within the borough.”

Wandsworth’s housing spokesman Paul Ellis said: “Peabody is on course to deliver over 100 new shared ownership homes in the next few months including schemes in our two biggest regeneration areas – Nine Elms and Wandsworth Town.
"This is great news for low and middle income households who need help to get on the housing ladder."
