Police are growing increasingly concerned about a 15-year-old girl who has not been seen since yesterday morning.

Natasha Sandford was last seen at her school in Burntwood Lane, Caterham, at about 11.30am yesterday and police believe she has travelled to Croydon.

At the time she went missing the teenager was wearing her de Stafford school uniform of black trousers, a white shirt, a black blazer and a black with red and white stripes tie, along with pink trainers.

She is white, about 5ft 4in, of medium build with long purple dyed hair which she usually ties up in either a pony tail or bun.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Stephen Richardson said: "We are appealing to anyone who may have seen Natasha travelling on public transport or knows her current whereabouts to get in touch.

"If Natasha is reading this I would like to reassure her that she is not in any trouble, we simply want to ensure she is safe and well."

Anyone who knows Natasha’s whereabouts is asked to call Surrey Police on 101 or by calling or texting the Missing People charity on 116000.
