Elderly woman hit by van in Shirley
An elderly woman is in hospital after being hit by a van in Shirley.
The pedestrian was in Orchard Way near the junction with Kelvington Close when she was hit at about 12.30pm today.
Emergency services were called and she was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The road remains closed while police investigate what has happened.
There have been no arrests.
