UPDATE: Person dies after being trapped in flat fire in Holroyd Road, Putney

Firefighters at Holroyd Road this morning
A person has died after being trapped in a burning building.
Police have confirmed the fire, which broke out inside a flat on Holroyd Road, Putney at 5am this morning has claimed the life of one inhabitant.
No further details about the victim have been made available.
Four fire engines and an aerial platform from Wandsworth fire station were able to extinguish the flames shortly after 8.30am. The cause of the fire is unknown.
