A group of travellers have vacated their camp at Roundshaw Park after being served with a notice to leave.
Local resident Hazel Szmidt contacted the authorities to complain about the vans after she noticed a barrier to the park had been left open.
"I seem to remember the figure of £800,000 in legal and clean up cost approximately 6-7 years ago when a number of caravans invaded the area," she said.
A council spokeswoman said the group had moved on after being served with a notice.

Thats great, but now can they do something to stop the yobs who keep riding their motocross bikes over the roundshaw fields every evening? [/quote] Yeah the coucil could put some razor wire across the width of the field so it takes their heads off as they ride through it!
