A teenager has lost the sight in one eye after being beaten up outside McDonald's in Sutton.
The 16-year-old boy got involved in a scuffle with another youth, who was about the same age, outside the fast food restaurant at about 5.30pm on Thursday, December 13.
During the fight he fell to the floor and was then kicked in the face by another youth, also aged about 16.
The two suspects then ran away.
As a result of his injuries the victim has been blinded in his right eye, and is undergoing a third operation in the hope that some of the sight in that eye can be restored.
Both suspects are black and are aged about 16.
Police are appealing for information about the assault. Anyone with information should call detective constable Ritchie Hammond on 020 8649 0747 or told anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 11.
