A cyclist has been assaulted by a van driver in Cheam Common Road near Woodbine Lane.
The attack happened this morning, at around 8.10am.
A witness said: "The cyclist's face was covered in blood."
Three police offices were seen at the incident.
A spokesman for the MET Police said: "The driver of a van allegedly assaulted a cyclist. One male was arrested."
