A Coulsdon teenager has gone missing.

Salina Abbas, 15, is believed to be with a second missing girl, 13-year-old Ellie Burch from Redhill.

Ellie was last seen when she was dropped off at school by her mother at approximately 8.10am on October 17.

She did not attend school and was reported missing later that day.

Salina was reported missing that same day.

Ellie is described as white, 5ft 3 tall, with long dark brown hair and was wearing a blue blazer, tartan skirt, black tights and a grey Ralph Lauren hooded top.

Salina is described as 5ft 5 tall, of a slim build, and dark brown hair with blonde highlights. She was last seen wearing her school uniform, but there is no description of it at this stage.

Police think the girls are together and may be travelling by foot, or public transport.

PC Barrie Carr, who is leading the investigation made an impassioned plea to the girls.

“Ellie and Salina, if you are reading this then please make contact with us so that we know you are ok. Neither of you are in trouble, we just want to hear from you. If you don’t want to speak to the police you can call or text the Missing People charity on 116 000.”

Anyone who sees Ellie or Salina is asked to call Surrey Police on 101 quoting 45170115073.
