Looking for a change of career? The Guardian jobs fair might be able to help you.

On Thursday, October 19, the fair is bringing together different employers – with 17 confirmed so far - to help you find the career that is right for you.

The event takes place at the Holiday Inn in Gibson Road, Sutton, with the doors opening at 11am and running until 4pm.

Visitors will have the chance to speak to employers and find out what roles they have to offer.

Job seekers will have a range of potential employers to choose from, from the Army to charity The Children’s Trust and Signatures of Epsom.

The National Careers Service, who specialise in helping you write CVs and the like, will be there too to help you land the right job.

Tanya Hurley, classified manager at the south London Guardian series, said: “The employers and training providers present are always really welcoming to job seekers – whether you want to drive tanks for the Army or talk to Headmasters about one of its roles, there is hopefully something for everyone.

“You can hand a copy of your CV straight to the employer at the event and talk about how your skills and experience can meet their needs.

“There is also an opportunity to benefit from the free careers advice and training provided by the National Careers Service who will be running workshops at the fair.

“All are welcome and we look forward to seeing you on the day.”
