A planning application to build a six-storey residential block in Hackbridge has been withdrawn.
As reported by Sutton Guardian in August, Hexagon Investments had proposed to build eight two bedroom flats and four one bedroom flats at Hexagon House 59 London Road in Hackbridge.
However, the developer has now withdrawn its application to Sutton Council.
The reason is not yet known but the plans were met with criticism at the time.
Hackbridge & Beddington Corner Neighbourhood Development Group objected the proposals after citing a reduction in parking spaces, an incorrect site boundary and Victorian cottages on London Road being hindered by an “extreme” loss of sun light from a potential new block.
