Resurface works to the carriageway on the A217 Reigate Avenue, between Rose Hill roundabout and Sutton Common Road, will get underway tonight.
Transport for London (TfL) has sent a letter to local residents informing them about the work.
Construction will commence at 9pm tonight (July 18) and is expected to last until 5am tommorow morning.
The Reigate Avenue between Rose Hill roundabout and the intersection with Sutton Common Road will be fully closed.
Some parking bays on Reigate Avenue between Glastonbury Road and Rose Hill roundabout will be suspended.
Access into Glastonbury Road from the A217 Reigate Avenue will be limited for “brief periods of time” with machinery being transported across the junction.
TfL added that buses will be running as normal and pedestrian crossings will be kept clear when possible.
