Sally Anne Bowman

Sally Anne Bowman Sally Anne Bowman was born to Linda and Paul Bowman on September 11 1987 - the youngest of 4 daughters. 18 years later, model Sally Anne, who dreamed of being the next Kate Moss, was attacked after a night out with friends in Croydon on September 25, 2005. Her body was found yards from her home in Blenheim Crescent, South Croydon.

Tributes and condolences streamed into Sally Anne's family and her father Paul admits to finding strength from people's good will.

"It is a very tough time and it is amazing how something as dreadful as this brings out your faith in human nature. "I have had people ringing me who I haven't seen or heard from for years to see if they can do anything."

Sally Anne Bowman The 18-year-old's mum, Linda has spoken about Sally Anne's aspirations and her dream of appearing on the front cover of Vogue.

"I only wish she had made her front cover of Vogue and if this could be made possible now this means all her dreams would become true. At least her murderer could not take that from her."

Linda not only remembers Sally Anne as an aspiring model but also as a keen singer. She said: "She had the face and voice of an angel. Her favourite song that she would sing at the karaoke bars was My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion.

"She would also sing Saving All My Love For You by Whitney Houston, she sang it so well she would bring me to tears."

"Sally achieved everything she set out to do in life, she never gave up on anything.

Linda penned an emotional poem to her daughter in the week she would have celebrated her 20th birthday:

If I should write a story I would name it after you and tell all the world how great you were, kind and loving too.
If I should write a story and all my dreams come true, I would walk my way to Heaven in hope of finding you.
If I could visit Heaven on this your special day, then maybe for a moment my pain would go away.
To me you are someone special, what more is there to say, except to wish with all my heart that you were here today.
My story has been written, no more is left to say.
Thank you for all your love you gave us every day.
