Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash which left a cyclist in a coma for six weeks.
The 37-year-old man was riding his bike with his 10-year-old son along Warren Road, Whitton, when police believe he was hit by a coach.
He suffered serious head injuries in the collision and has had to undergo major surgery.
The man was in a coma for six weeks and has only recently regained consciousness.
Police say he is now in a stable condition in hospital.
The accident happened at about 3pm on August 11 at the junction of Hall Farm Drive.
The victim’s son was not injured in the collision.
PC David Jones, of the collision investigation unit, appealed for witnesses to come forward, and said: “There may be someone who saw it but didn’t know how serious it was.”
It is thought the driver of the coach may not have been aware he hit the cyclist.
