Travel is disrupted between Barnes and Richmond after a person was taken ill between Barnes and Richmond.
National Rail made the announcement shortly after 6pm on Wednesday, February 7, following reports of a passenger feeling unwell on board a train at Richmond station.
Train services running through these stations may be delayed or revised.
A National Rail spokesman said: “The control centre has received a report that a passenger has taken ill on board a train at Richmond, this means the line between Barnes and Richmond is currently blocked in the Richmond bound direction.
“Staff are currently assisting the passenger and seeking medical assistance, until it is safe to do so the train will be unable to leave the station.”

The disruption is expected to last until 7.30pm.
